​Cagle Kicks Off German-style Apprenticeship Program

Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle spoke Monday afternoon at ceremonies announcing a new German-style apprenticeship program that will be launched in Coweta County. The corporations taking part in the pilot include Grenzebach, E.G.O. North America, Yamaha, Kason, Yokogawa, Winpak, Chromalloy and Groov-Pin.

2015 is off and running and we are feeling very optimistic!  We have landed some great new accounts with innovative projects and are having to expand our capacity to meet the demand.  To keep up with these new orders, we added a new member to our facility, a new CNC machine, along with a bar loader.

Manufacturing Day 2014

On October 3rd, 2014, Groov-Pin took part in a nationwide event known as Manufacturing Day.  Mfg Day addresses common misperceptions about manufacturing by giving manufacturers an opportunity to open their doors and show, in a coordinated effort, what manufacturing is — and what it isn’t.  Our Smithfield, RI plant hosted a facility tour and presentation to demonstrate what exactly goes into our manufacturing process.

Groov-Pin attends Tyco Supplier Summit

On August 4th, our CEO, Scot Jones, GA Plant Manager, Scott Bunn, and Sales Manager, Mark Ciuba, traveled to Mexico to attend the Tyco Electronics Supplier Summit.  Groov-Pin was one of only 40 suppliers invited to attend this event out of tens of thousands of suppliers that Tyco Electronics works with.
